How do I book?
Message us on WhatsApp at +62 812-4338-1989, or book through Airbnb, Booking.com or Agoda. We confirm availability and rates as soon as you ask.
What does a night cost?
Between Rp 550,000 and Rp 650,000 per night. The exact rate depends on your dates and how long you stay, and is confirmed when you book.
How can I pay?
For bookings made directly with us, bank transfer or cash. We do not take card payments. If you would rather pay by card, book through Airbnb, Booking.com or Agoda, where the platform handles payment.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in runs from 14:00 to 22:00. Check-out is by 12:00.
How many people can stay?
The main house is comfortable for four to five guests. Two air-conditioned bedrooms and one bathroom with hot water.
Is there a kitchen?
Yes, a full one. Gas stove, cookware, tableware, refrigerator and a water dispenser.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, throughout the house, plus an OLED television in the living area.
What is provided in the rooms?
Towels, soap, shampoo and a hair dryer. Coffee, tea and sugar are complimentary. Prayer mats and mukena are available for Muslim guests.
Is there parking?
Parking in the yard is free. For events with a lot of vehicles, extra parking is arranged with the neighbours, usually Rp 5,000 to Rp 10,000 per vehicle.
What is a joglo, and can we use it for an event?
A joglo is a traditional Javanese pavilion with a high pyramidal roof carried on carved wooden posts. Ours is open on all sides and seats around 100 people. It comes with the stay at no separate charge, and has been used for wedding ceremonies and large family gatherings. Outside catering is welcome. Only the existing tables and chairs are available, we do not supply extra.
What is the cancellation policy?
For bookings made directly through WhatsApp, payments already made are not refunded if the guest cancels. If we cancel, the payment is refunded. For bookings made through Airbnb, Booking.com or Agoda, that platform rules apply.
Where exactly are you, and how far is the city centre?
Jl. Saman Selatan No. 62, Druwo, Bangunharjo, Sewon, Bantul, Yogyakarta 55188. About 20 minutes to Malioboro, 25 minutes to the Tugu Monument, 35 minutes to Parangtritis Beach and 18 minutes to Gembira Loka Zoo.
How long is the trip from Yogyakarta International Airport?
About 60 minutes by car.
Do you offer airport pickup?
We do not offer airport pickup. From the airport you can take an airport taxi or a ride-hailing app.
Does the host speak English?
Some English, but not much. If your question is detailed, a written WhatsApp message is easier to get right than a phone call.
What makes this a low-waste homestay?
Sorting baskets for recyclables and biopori holes in the garden where food scraps break down in place. We use besek, handwoven bamboo boxes, instead of plastic packaging. Guests are welcome to join in, and equally welcome not to.
