Who we are
Omah Ralin is a homestay in Sewon, Bantul, Yogyakarta, open since 2024. The omahralin.com website is run by Omah Ralin ourselves.

What we collect
The contact form. If you fill in the form on our Contact page, we receive your name, email address, subject and message. That is stored on this website and emailed to us.
Visit statistics. We use Google Analytics to see which pages get opened, where visitors come from, and what device they use. What we read is aggregate numbers, not individual identities.
Server logs. Like most websites, the server records IP addresses, browser type and time of visit. These logs are part of the hosting service.
WhatsApp. The WhatsApp button opens the WhatsApp app. Anything you say after that happens inside WhatsApp and falls under WhatsApp privacy policy, not this one.
What we do not do
To be clear about it:
- We do not sell your data to anyone.
- This site carries no advertising, so no ad network is tracking you from here.
- There are no user accounts to register for.
- Comments are switched off on every article.
What the data is used for
- Answering questions and booking enquiries.
- Working out which pages are useful and which are not.
- Keeping the site secure and working.
Cookies
Cookies are small files your browser stores. On this site they are used by Google Analytics to tell a first visit from a return visit. You can delete or block them in your browser settings, and the site will still work.
Third parties
These services also process data when you open this site:
- Google Analytics and Google Search Console, for visit statistics.
- Our hosting provider, to run the site.
- WhatsApp, if you tap the WhatsApp button.
This site also links to our pages on Instagram, Airbnb, Booking.com and Agoda. Once you move over there, their privacy policies apply.
How long we keep it
Contact form messages are kept as long as we need them to reply and follow up. If you want your message deleted, tell us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct anything wrong, and ask us to delete it. Reach us on WhatsApp or through the Contact page.
Children
This site is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 13. If you believe your child sent us something through this site, tell us and we will remove it.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page is updated.
